The French Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with local authorities, successfully deployed this week its new web portal using open source technologies such as Drupal, Mysql, Apache, Nginx, etc. The search engine - The heart of the new Interface - was developed by BPM-Consulting, using open source technologies like Zookeeper, Solr, Nutch.

“This is the second Ministry deployed with our search infrastructure, after the French Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea last year. We worked with the same teams as the previous project, scaling the infrastructure to support multiple indexes in parallel, upgrading all open source components to get the most out of each component.
